what have I got to offer?
Well, first and foremost, I can write. My background is in magazines, so I’m just as happy writing offline as I am writing for online. I write mainly B2B, but like to keep my hand in with consumer press as well. Sectors I cover include: brand licensing, preschool, giftware, houseware, stationery and gardening.
As a Content Manager I work with clients to make sure we’re creating engaging, readable content for users, with an eye on SEO and best practices in usability and accessibility, as well as meeting brand and visual identity guidelines. I’m technically competent in various content management systems (CMS).
The time always comes when a website gets out of date and needs to move to a new platform. And this is where I come in. I work with teams on the whole content migration process. From the early stages of audience analysis, to information architecture and user journeys; I can develop a strategy for your website going forwards. And once that’s in place, I can help edit or write new content. Need to train staff in the new system? I can run training courses in CMS and writing for the web as well.
