Here are a few examples of my recent work:
Content migration project for Scouts Association
As part of the migration of content from the old Scouts website to a new site, I created the information architecture for the parents and volunteers sections, using previously commissioned UX research. I also completed a content audit of the old Scouts website and wrote training documents for staff on writing for the web and using the CMS.
Hasbro supplement for licensing source book (autumn 2019)
I worked as editor of this 16-page supplement for Hasbro on behalf of my client, Max Publishing. This supplement came with the autumn edition of Licensing Source Book 2019. I planned the supplement with Hasbro, wrote each feature, liaised with the designer on design and managed final sign off.
Richard Jackson’s Garden website
For four years I was the freelance Content Manager for the award-winning Richard Jackson’s Garden – the website of QVC’s gardener, Richard Jackson. This involved uploading new content each week, writing blog posts, writing a monthly e-newsletter, managing the Facebook page and Twitter profile and analysing site statistics to help the team plan future content and web development. I also managed the content migration to a new site.
